My rifle has to work every time, 'only accurate rifles are interesting,' and be 'enough gun.'
The 6.5 x 55 sS. E. (misnamed the 6.5 X 55 Swedish Mauser in the U. S.) is enough gun for anything south of Alaska (and I lived in interior Alaska for three winters.) If the 6.5 x 55 is not big enough for moose, someone needs to inform the thousands of Scandinavian moose taken with this cartridge every year.
The Tikka T-3 Stainless Lite is a very accurate rifle, very reliable, and has such nice features as a user-adjustable trigger and detachable box magazine.
The Tikka T-3 Stainless Lite works; the 6.5 X 55 S.E. ('Swedish Mauser') is a lot 'more gun' that most people evr imagine!

SINCE MY DAYS AS A YOUNG MARINE DURING THE VIETNAM WAR THE M14 -CIVILIAN VERSION M1A1 COULD NEVER BE OUTCLASSED BY ANY OTHER RIFLE , ITS ACCURACY IS UNRIVALED AND SIMPLICITY IS OVERWHELMING , AMMUNITION IS ALWAYS READILY AVAILABLE AT LOW COST, AND CAN PUT AS MUCH FIREPOWER ON THE TARGET AS EVER NEEDED.

I love my Smith & Wesson M&P15 .223. Never a misfeed, jam, or misfire. Very accurate and fun to shoot. I also recently bought the M&P15-22P which is the pistol version of the AR15 but shoots .22LR. I haven't shot it yet but look forward to it.

Great gun for all uses. A little difficult to conceal but I live in an open carry state so I just hang this on my hip. Works on everything from chipmunks to moose (I think it works on chipmunks but I can never find anything after shooting one). Doesn't kick like a S&W 460 or 500 so I can shoot all day (just can't afford to).
My wife's carry gun as well, just needed a big purse. The best part is watching the people at Costco suck wind when the spot the gun on my hip.

HK usp 45 compact. I compete in IDPA and am going to soon begin other comps as well. Out of 30-40 guys shooting every week, about 90% have 1911s. Some of those things are customized 2-3k guns w/ longslides etc. The last 10% is comprised primarily of Glocks, Sigs and the odd ball CZs or something. I'm usually the only one w/ an HK. Outdoor shoots are awesome! Last one I think there was 18 straight malfun w/ 1911s. Don't like to be cold I guess.
I usually don't have any trouble out shooting all of them w/ my factory stock,off the shelf, 700.00 HK. I've shot in pouring rain, driving freezing rain, snow, desert heat, never matters. Fires everytime, and hits right where I want it to. NEVER HAD 1 malfunction.
You want a pretty gun to show off at the range that everyone can ewwww and ahhhh? Buy a kimber or a colt. You want a killing tool you can save your own life with? Buy an HK. You won't regret it......Just IMO

I prefer the Glock 32 chambered in .357 Sig. It is a great concealed carry weapon and will stop a tank almost. Losaded with speer gold dot JHP rounds it will make attackers think twice.

My Walther P99 is the hottest looking,and the most reliable carry 9mm auto I have come across, with its anti-stress trigger system and its decocking button.In two tone black and stainless it is an excelent tactical handgun,in either single,double,or anti-stress action.
